Like a shepherd, He’ll leave His flock to come pursue you, to meet you where you are. But how? How do we start fresh in the mess of our lives? Drawing from the parables of the Prodigal Son and the Good Shepherd, we’ll dive deeper into the mystery of God’s merciful love.

Three women. God entrusted three women with the message of whose we are and where we are going. In this talk, we draw from Luke 7:44 and look at how Jesus viewed and valued women and empowered them to shape the early church. It’s a message of urgency for women to take up their role in rebuilding the church for our times.
Thieves of Hope

Floods, fires, famine, war, failed leadership, and injustice, it feels like the world is coming undone. And yet, God has revealed we are in the time of mercy. How can this be? In this talk we bust false images of God that steal our confidence and trust in God’s goodness. We discover a simple path that not only restores our connection with God but our essence of God. This talk is full of hope for our everyday lives as we explore the way from fear to love, punishment to tenderness, and justice to mercy.
The Little Church

Pope Francis’ vision for the Church is the Church of Mercy. He describes it this way, “The thing the church needs most today is the ability to heal wounds and to warm the hearts of the faithful; it needs nearness, proximity. I see the church as a field hospital after battle. It is useless to ask a seriously injured person if he has high cholesterol and about the level of his blood sugars! You have to heal his wounds. Then we can talk about everything else. Heal the wounds, heal the wounds. ... And you have to start from the ground up.” In this talk, we look at the Church of Mercy as the little church that does three things intentionally and faithfully well. Come learn what these are and where you and your church find itself.
