Retreats

A time to be

Jesus went into the desert alone to pray.

Retreats create the space we need to reorient ourselves and rediscover the joy of abiding in Our God. It’s where we can be more attentive to God in our hearts, to withdraw from our everyday affairs to become more attuned to our interior movements.

We invite you to join us.

Mary, Undoer of Knots

Fall Retreat

In this silent retreat we look to Mary, Mother of Mercy and Undoer of Knots to find freedom and new life. Surrounded by stunning Canadian Shield foliage, this retreat offers walks in nature to contemplate the change in season as you explore what God is asking you to let go of in this season of your life. Guided and silent walks and meditations, spiritual direction, Confessions, Adoration, and Saturday evening Mass.

We break the silent retreat with a tour of a local winery and a harvest meal and wine tasting as we savour all God is doing in our lives.

Time: Annually in September

Mary, Mother of Jesus

Lenten Retreat

In this silent retreat, we enter Mary’s suffering heart as we follow her to the foot of the cross to meet the Mary, Mother of Jesus, as our surest and quickest way to the heart of her son. This silent retreat offers a contemplative prayer experience with short talks, silent reflection, spiritual direction, Adoration, Confession, and Mass.

Time: Second Week of Lent

Mary, Mother of Contemplatives

Summer Retreat

In this silent retreat, we contemplate Mary, Mother of Contemplatives, as we look to Mary as our guide to heart-pondering prayer. In this retreat we offer different prayer experiences, including art, music, nature, and contemplative prayer so that you can discover how best God speaks to you in your daily life. This retreat ends with the preparation of a communal meal and an iconography lesson.
